In the autumn of 2004, I introduced a unique musical style that I have continued to develop ever since. It combines the sensibility of Western classical music with Macedonian folk music, while preserving the authentic character of both traditions. My aim was to create the impression that two professional clarinetists - a classical performer and a folk musician - had merged into one.

I originally developed this approach for my own artistic fulfillment. Over the years, fellow musicians - particularly in my homeland - have come to refer to it as "Blagoj's Style." My sheet music has also been purchased and studied by university students and educators across Europe, the United States, and Asia.
